Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) doing a fancy two step around Neil Cavuto's questions. Asshats still trying to insist that witness's and evidence be allowed in Senate despite the fact that is not the job of the Senate, that was the job of the house.

Takeaway is the house didn't do their job and want a do over in the Senate. What's the betting pool on this?

Alright, here's part of "The Plan" I don't get. "How do you introduce evidence"? That would imply changing up the Senate judgement of the house case they were presented with to a do over of the admittedly (fatally) flawed case of the house.

It seems to me that if that is part of "The Plan" is destroying the role of the Senate as judges of the house case and re-casting their role to that of prosecutors that is a terrible perversion of the impeachment process.

Despite how great it would be to see all the dirt trotted out across the impeachment "stage", it would be terribly destructive to the Senate's authority and purpose in these proceedings. If the house brought a losing case to the Senate, shouldn't the Senate dismiss it out of hand and pursue the "introduction of evidence" via other legal means such as criminal prosecutions?

Once POTUS is cleared, the impeachment never happened, and the corrosive lies and crimes from the left exposed for all to see criminal pursuit of those involved would appear to be much more justified to the less informed electorate.

It's a target rich environment, we don't need to destroy the Senate role in impeachment to go after these bastards.
