Since it is FLU season

I thought I'd share my own regimen at dealing with it.

Links will help you do your own research on it.

———–

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antiviral_drug

Antiviral drugs are a class of medication used specifically for treating viral infections rather than bacterial ones.[1] Most antivirals are used for specific viral infections, while a broad-spectrum antiviral is effective against a wide range of viruses.[2] Unlike most antibiotics, antiviral drugs do not destroy their target pathogen; instead they inhibit their development.

Garlic can prevent infection inside or outside the body. Laboratory studies confirm that RAW garlic has antibacterial and antiviral properties. … Cooking garlic, however, destroys the allicin, so you'll need to use raw garlic to prevent or fight infections.

http://www.health-science-spirit.com/borax.htm

Due to their content of boron, borax and boric acid have basically the same health effects, with good antiseptic, antifungal, and antiviral properties but only mild antibacterial action. In plants as well as animals boron is essential for the integrity and function of cell walls, and the way signals are transmitted across membranes.

So…….. what I have done…… when a flu headache starts and throat gets scratchy…….

  1. dissolve a tablespoon of laundry borax in a pint of filtered water; gargle with it; spit it out;

take a small sip and swallow; gargle several times as needed

  1. chop two large cloves garlic; melt 4 tablespoons butter in small skillet; remove from heat;

add chopped garlic to skillet; dip pieces of bread into this garlic mix til finished; do this once a day before bedtime; get a good rest

  1. take a capsule of acidophilus with a cranberry capsule twice a day

  2. suck on Vitamin C cough drops

  3. eat easy to digest foods like baked yams, chicken, soup, and make juice from any veggie

  4. take a tablespoon of RAW honey every now and then and if it gets out of control I add a 25mg benedryl liquigel to keep the mucous to a minimum while my body fights off the virus

My emergency plan:

If I feel that I am becoming toxic – dizziness, stiffness in joints, etc – especially if I feel a wave of toxins occurring in my system

it becomes important to expel those toxins as soon as possible.

How long would I sit in an emergency waiting room?

What exactly could a doctor do for me? give me antibiotics ?

Not if this is caused by a virus they won't.

To me, this would be cause for IMMEDIATE action against these toxins.

Antibiotics cannot expel toxins. You have to help your body expel them. The best way to do this is to sweat those toxins out of you.

A sauna might not be a good venue as steamy air may carry further infections

and so

Goldenseal is an excellent detoxifying agent.

I always make it into a tea rather than take capsules or powders.

Epsom salts help draw out toxins from the body.

I would make a big pot of goldenseal root tea (2 tea bags only in a 4 cup pot) and aim at drinking the entire batch while sweating it out in a hot epsom salt bath.

I might add some mint or other herb to the water. Goldenseal can stain.

Bath water as hot as I can stand it.

1 cup epsom salt in a full tub (dissolve in a container first)

This is a mild salt bath but the water will be hot.

I would replenish the hot tea and the heat in the tub water for at least an hour running my hand over my skin to pull residue away and into the water.

I might even keep it going for two hours, or until I felt the crisis recede.

I might even draw a clean and fresh tub of water after it becomes too cool.

How Did London Bridge End Up in Arizona ?

https://www.history.com/news/how-london-bridge-ended-up-in-arizona

In the early 1960s, officials in England made a troubling discovery: London Bridge was falling down. The 1,000-foot span had stood for over 130 years and survived strafing during World War II’s London Blitz, but it was unequipped for modern traffic and was slowly sinking into the River Thames at a rate of one inch every eight years. Renovations were deemed impractical, so the City of London resolved to build a wider, more car-friendly replacement. The 19th century granite bridge seemed destined for the junkyard, but a city councilor named Ivan Luckin convinced his colleagues that it might be possible to sell it in the United States. In 1968, he crossed the pond to market the monument to prospective buyers.
