just saw this full version. the 4 (cropped) symbols in the corner symbolize the 4 cardinal directions, each direction has a god attributed to them, east for example is lucifers directions. In the bible, Ezekiel god is angry with the religious leaders who had their back toward the temple and were worshiping towards the east. Further illustrating the point, when the people rebelled against god it was often symbolized with them "leaving and settling in the east" again, the eastern direction. Also the east gate is where satan launches attack on gods people.
