Officials Responding to Reports of Small Plane Crash in Calabasas Area

A small aircraft crashed on the mountains near Las Virgenes Road in the Calabasas area, Los Angeles Times reporter Richard Winton said on Twitter just before 10 a.m. Sunday.
“Small plane crash on Las Virgenes on the mountains, which are fogged in right now. I heard the plane splutter and then a boom,” he said.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lost Hills station are responding to the scene at Las Virgenes Road and Willow Glen Street, the agency told KTLA.
“Deputies on scene. Unknown condition of occupants(s),” the Sheriff’s Department said on Twitter.
