Re: Reverse osmosis systems

I'm not advertising a brand on here. Just do your research, it's not new technology and they all work basically the same way.

I've had the ones with the snap in filters, and they get down to about 30-40 ppm TDS which is not bad. The more substantial ones are a little more work to maintain, but they'll get into the sub-10 range which is about as good as you can expect with a non-commercial system.

They do use more water than they put out, but I wouldn't say you are wasting that water. The contaminants in the source water need to be carried away somehow. Better down the drain than out your kidneys.

Interesting. I just have a carbon post-filter on mine and am usually in the 9-15 range. Probably should look into DI.

Our source water is absolute shit, loaded with sediment, minerals, and chlorine so I change my pre-filters at about every 6-9 month depending on how heavily it gets used. The sediment filter is always the color of mud.

A narrative. A fucking story. Repeated over and over, on every platform.

This is information war.

The panic has spread much more quickly via the media than any virus could. It's a mind virus. We call that a "meme," we know they work, and like any tool they can be used for good or evil.

There's no need to use a messy biological virus as a weapon, when the "information" weapon spreads much faster, at lower cost, and no chance of it backfiring on the wielder.

China can quarantine and/or kill any of its people, anytime it wants, with public support approaching 100%. It does not need a biological virus, it already has one planted in the minds of the people.
