Ousted Grammys CEO claims that the awards are rigged and that her predecessor raped an artist threaten to overshadow ceremony as Taylor Swift pulls out and Diddy attacks 'lack of black music recognition'
The 62nd annual Grammy Awards threaten to be shrouded by a wave of controversy as the ousted CEO claims nominations are rigged and her predecessor sexually assaulted a female recording artist.
Additionally, rapper Diddy called out the Grammy’s for continually snubbing rap and R&B genres, and Taylor Swift dropped out of performing.
Cracks in the award show’s façade began to show after former CEO and president Deborah Dugan was fired from her position just 10 days before the star-studded event is scheduled to happen. She had been on the job for six months.
It came after Dugan was accused of misconduct, including bullying a female senior assistant to the point where the woman took a leave of absence.
