Kobe Bryant crash location, for those who relate to maps. Crash site is in hilly to mountainous region, with 2000+ foot ridge line and steep canyons. Fog/overcast can be very thick at times in that region, making travel by air extremely dangerous because of pilot confusion.
Please note the area is also smack in the middle of the region that has sustained the massive damaging fires of late.
