I have switched ID 4-5 times this bread and several started with e, f and several started with numeral 1.
The point is not whether it would be desirable, but HOW would it be done. Think logically. It would require persistent identification of real anon contributors. If there's not a technically feasible way to do it without using cookies, then just rule it out.
