It looks like cosmetic vinyl wraps on helicopters is a thing. They can do more complex designs more cheaply. That probably what the black Nike color scheme was.

It looks increasingly like it's the same helicopter. The blue/white scheme was the real paint; and the black Nike scheme was a cosmetic vinyl wrapping that would have burnt and shriveled away due to the fire.

This would have been awfully expensive to do with real pint.
