John Bolton Denies ‘Coordination’ After New York Times Leaks Book Details
Former White House national security adviser John Bolton denied Monday that he, his publisher, or his agent coordinated with the New York Times to release a portion of his book in a report on Sunday night.
The NY Times report alleged that Bolton said he was told by President Donald Trump that a freeze on military aid to Ukraine was linked to investigations. The NY Times report does not include any quotes or excerpts from the forthcoming book, “In The Room Where It Happened.” The Ukraine-investigations allegation is a focal point of Trump’s Senate impeachment trial, where Democrats have alleged the president abused his power and obstructed Congress.
“Ambassador John Bolton, Simon & Schuster, and Javelin Literary categorically state that there was absolutely no coordination with the New York Times or anyone else regarding the appearance of information about his book, THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENED, at online booksellers. Any assertion to the contrary is unfounded speculation,” a spokesperson for Bolton told Axios and the Los Angeles Times on Monday.
Some Republican members of Congress suggested that the timing of the NY Times report was suspect—as Trump’s legal team was scheduled to mount their defense of the president on Monday in the Senate impeachment trial.
“I NEVER told John Bolton that the aid to Ukraine was tied to investigations into Democrats, including the Bidens. In fact, he never complained about this at the time of his very public termination. If John Bolton said this, it was only to sell a book,” Trump wrote on Twitter. He also noted that Ukrainian President Zelensky and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko both went on record and denied there was no quid pro quo.
“I met with President Zelensky at the United Nations … and released the military aid to Ukraine without any conditions or investigations—and far ahead of schedule. I also allowed Ukraine to purchase Javelin anti-tank missiles. My Administration has done far more than the previous Administration,” Trump wrote.

Labour Leadership Candidate Long-Bailey Says Idea That Britons Rejected Socialism is ‘Bollocks’
The far-left candidate to replace Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party, Rebecca Long-Bailey, said it was “bollocks” that the British people rejected socialism in last month’s general election.
In a leaked audio recording of remarks given at an event on Saturday, Ms Long-Bailey refused to blame Corbynism for the Labour Party’s historic electoral defeat, even though she admitted that the results of the election left her “crushed”.
“We had a few wobbly people on the doorstep because of Brexit, but I thought everything was going to be alright,” she said per HuffPost UK.
“I was in a state of shock and it was as if everything I believed [was] being ripped up before my very eyes, that everything we fought and we’re so proud of was suddenly invalidated, [that] no-one wanted us, no-one wanted socialism,” added the MP for Salford and Eccles.
“And then I pushed that thought out of my head because I thought ‘that’s bollocks’,” she surmised.
Long-Bailey was tacitly endorsed by Jeremy Corbyn at the same event, who said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to be here alongside Becky Long-Bailey, our candidate for leader.”
“I’ve known Becky since we came into parliament and we’ve worked very well together. She has done the most to develop our trade union policies,” Corbyn added.
Ms Long-Bailey, who is being groomed by the hard-left activist group Momentum to continue the failed socialist policies of Jeremy Corbyn, has described the performance of the outgoing Labour leader as “ten out of ten”.
Earlier this month the Labour Party leader hopeful wrote: “We need a proud socialist to lead the Labour Party, driven by their principles and an unwavering determination to see democratic socialism in our lifetime.”
She currently trails Sir Keir Starmer in the race to replace Corbyn; however, she remains ahead of Emily Thornberry and Lisa Nandy in the latest polling by YouGov.
The new leader of the Labour Party will be announced on April 4th.

The pandemic exercise was conducted in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During Event 201 Johnson & Johnson was asked specifically about a coronavirus vaccine.
When asked, the Johnson & Johnson representative talked about the need for regulatory flexibility for an accelerated vaccine, financing and business. Not once did he mention safety or effectiveness. In today’s news, we see that Johnson & Johnson are currently working on a vaccine and they’re “pretty confident” they can quickly develop one.

PR Stunt: ISIS Vows Attacks Against Israel
On January 27, ISIS released an official audio message claiming that the terrorist group will launch attacks with the focus on Israel.
The message was released by the group’s al-Furqan media.
“He and his brothers in all states have vowed to begin a new phase, which is to fight the Jews and restore all that they have usurped from Muslims,” the ISIS spokesman said about Abu Hamza al-Qurayshi (the current leader of the group).
The message called on the “soldiers of the caliphate” especially in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula and across the Levant to attack Israeli targets.
“To Muslims and Palestine and elsewhere, be a main force in fighting Jews and frustrating their plans such as the Deal of the Century,” the message said.
On top of this, the terrorist group called to ‘cut ties’ with Hamas because of its links with Iran and positive attitude towards the figure of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani (assassinated by the US on January 3). Besides general wording threats, the terrorist group proposes to use rockets with chemical weapons to shell Israel and calls on the Palestinians to launch a terror campaign against the Israeli population. The message also includes threats against all states that have ties with Israel.
The terrorist group’s spokesperson emphasizes that ISIS still exists and continues expanding around the world. A part of the message is addressed to the ISIS branch in Afghanistan, where the terrorist group is facing significant difficulties. (The main reason of this is active actions of the Taliban that fiercely fights against the ISIS presence.)
ISIS made the announcement as the US administration prepares to unveil its ‘peace plan’ for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Palestinians have not been consulted on the much-trumpeted “Deal of the Century” and have preemptively rejected it. The Palestinian side reasonably says that the plan will be biased towards Israel.
The ISIS call to attack Israel comes at a time when the terrorist group has suffered major defeats and its self-proclaimed ‘Caliphate’ has collapsed. Despite carrying out deadly attacks throughout the world over the past years, ISIS has never attacked Israel. For years, the terrorist group controlled a large chunk of territory near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in Syria. Nonetheless, the group did not use this foothold to attack Israeli forces. In fact, it was a useful tool of Israel and the United States in their joint efforts to overthrow the Assad government and keep Syria in chaos.
The real ISIS ideology has never included a real antagonism toward Israel, the ‘liberation of Jerusalem’ or fight for Palestine. The new statement is just a PR stunt designed to paint ISIS as the ‘force fighting Israel’. The reality is that it is not. If the group really wanted to act in this direction, it had more than enoguh chances to do so. The January 27 message with threats against Israel is an attempt of the declining group to gain more supporters using anti-Israeli rhetoric.
A contrary example is Iran. Regardless points of view, the Islamic Republic has been providing a consistent policy of fighting the Zionism and supporting Palestine. Iran has repeatedly vowed to liberate Jerusalem. This position turned Iran into an attractive ally for any force fighting Israel’s hostile policies and supporting Palestine.

Mass. Youth Hockey Coach Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assault Of Player Over ‘Several Years’
DRACUT, MA. — A youth hockey coach has been arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault on a player on his hockey team.
Allen S. Pereira, 59, of Woburn, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 26 following an investigation by Dracut Police detectives. He was charged with three counts of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person Age 14 or Over (Felony).
Pereira was employed by a private youth hockey organization in Dracut at the time of the incidents.
The incidents occurred over the course of several years, starting when the victim was 14 years old and hockey player on a team coached by Pereira. The suspect is alleged to have inappropriately touched the victim and allegedly tried to coerce the victim into touching him and performing sexual acts on him.
Pereira was booked and processed by the Dracut Police Department pending his arraignment Tuesday at Lowell District Court.

Video Management Systems and Plug-in Surveillance Networks
In their first decades of existence, CCTV cameras were low-resolution analog devices that recorded onto tapes. Businesses or city authorities deployed them to film a small area of interest. Few cameras were placed in pubic, and the power to track people was limited: If police wanted to pursue a person of interest, they had to spend hours collecting footage by foot from nearby locations.
In the late 1990s, video surveillance became more advanced. A company called Axis Communications invented the first internet-enabled surveillance camera, which converted moving images to digital data. New businesses like Milestone Systems built Video Management Systems, or VMS, to organize video information into databases. VMS providers created new features like motion sensor technology that alerted guards when a person was caught on camera in a restricted area.
