Anyone else hearing such bold, repeated affirmations from conservative TV talking heads that the impeachment outcome is a foregone conclusion that it makes you a bit suspicious? It seems a little too much. I feel like we're being forced into a "relax" comfort zone so that the rug being pulled out will be more shocking.
It has me waiting for some crazy curveball (scripted, of course) that'll give all sorts of "guaranteed no votes" a reason to impeach and then we'll move into a shit-storm of revelations on how close to being a banana republic we really are, Plan Z and/or other hijinks.
