So does any airborn virus. You can get aids if contaminated body fluid gets in your eyes.
When you don't wash your hands and rub your eyes, BOOM! You just gave yourself the cold or flu.
Most masks readily available to the public don't filter particles small enough to protect you from a virus anyway.
