The Lakers played the Hawks 4 times during these 2 regular seasons; twice in Atlanta, and twice in LA. They're in separate conferences, thus don't play in the playoffs and they've never met in the Finals.

Sidenote: I wrote half of this thinking it was not a match, but then realized I was looking at the wrong game. This is mind-blowing, anons! IMO, without a doubt, chance alone is statistically impossible.
