Kansas' pic CONFIRMED

Game was played 2/15/2002

Repost from last bread for attention, given the 7 / 10 score and 653 time.

It's looking glass or Divine intervention, guise.

Or, at least, it's not doctored.

From http://projects.latimes.com/lakers/jersey/52/

Who wore 52?

Mike Smrek 86-88

Dennis Hamilton 67-68

Jay Carty 68-69

Happy Hairston 69-75 (maybe only wore 52 69-70)

Ron Johnson 60-61

Bob McNeill 61-62

That leaves us with Samaki Walker

Walker was a key contributor off the bench as the Lakers completed a championship three-peat in 2002. Signed before the 2001-02 season, he lent strength and depth to the team’s front line, averaging seven rebounds and seven points a game.

Released by the Lakers after the 2002-03 season, Walker was a well-traveled player, not only playing for six NBA franchises, but also for teams in China, Korea and Syria.

The Lakers played the Hawks 4 times during these 2 regular seasons; twice in Atlanta, and twice in LA. They're in separate conferences, thus don't play in the playoffs and they've never met in the Finals.

The two games played in LA were on February 15, 2002 (01-02 season) and November 12, 2002.

The Starters for the February 15, 2002 game are as follows:

Lakers

17 Rick Fox

3 Devean George

52 Samaki Walker

8 Kobe Bryant

10 Lindsey Hunter

Hawks

14 Ira Newble

3 Shareef Abdur-Rahim

2 Nazr Mohammed

1 DerMarr Johnson

31 Jason Terry

And the play-by-play confirms the scoring and fouls by the players are, by 6:53 in the 1st Quarter, EXACTLY as depicted in Kansas' image.

Sidenote: I wrote half of this thinking it was not a match, but then realized I was looking at the wrong game. This is mind-blowing, anons! IMO, without a doubt, chance alone is statistically impossible.
