I have a mild form of OCD in general and an obsessively perfectionistic form with my writing. I've always composed my comments on a notepad before posting because it takes a while to make them as concise, on point, and thought-provoking as possible. Additional time is spent proofreading until I'm absolutely certain that it's ready for public viewing.

I now have a reasonable excuse for continuing this practice.
