Anybody else experiencing weirdness with Twitter?
They had a desktop browser interface, and a mobile interface.
I don't have a twitter acct.
I always used the desktop twitter.
Today it switched to the mobile version (in muh browser on muh desktop) and I can't switch it back.
EVERYTHING I've tried doesn't work.
Delete Twitter cookies & site data and restart browser used to fix it.
(I have Twitter cookies blocked anyway).
It doesn't fix it anymore.
Tried to override user agent for twitter in Firefox advanced preferences but latest FF no longer lets you enter your own line in the preferences. So that method is out.
Is it just me, or did Twitter change something?

When there are new tweets, the desktop interface would notify you in a tab. The mobile interface doesn't. That's the worst drawback here.

Much more difficult to browse twitter when it doesn't update automatically or notify me when there are new tweets.
Hypothesis: Twitter changed it to make it much more annoying for those w/o Twitter accounts. They would REEEally like everybody to have a twitter acct and get their personal data scraped. Much moar profitable that way.
Generational divisions are false and were promoted in order to divide people. But people don't fit into neat generational classifications. Some would be surprised who's been here from the beginning putting in long hours every single day.
