what does "make it" mean?
If you look at the Grammys, what you are saying might make sense. Who are those people? Well, they're the best that the cabal has to offer?
Thing is, there are a good number of popular and famous acts who, I guess, haven't "made it". Some acts who are more popular, more famous but haven't "made it" and other acts who get to go on grammys and get on top 40 radio who have "made it". But people these days are ignoring those acts who the cabal and the top 40 radio want to sell. They just aren't spending money to access those cabal acts.
Rock sells more concert tickets, today. There are more famous rock acts that people spend money to see, today. And they get played on rock stations. But they don't get on top 40 and they don't play on the grammys tv show, and they don't get many nominations in the top categories and they don't get their rock categories on the tv show. The Nielsen ratings for the Grammys were the lowest ever.
