I dont mean to keep shitting up the thread but if the chinese raise the value of their currency they will buckle under the presure of 1.4 billion people. The only advantage they have is the sheer size of their population and the ability to pay them slave wages. Automation will be the death of china, and us also but later on.

The major advantage in this era china has over us is in places like africa or south america. China could easily send over 500 million of their poor people to colonize most of these 3rd world countries, it would be like china flushing its toilet on 3rd world countries. It would serve 2 purposes, (1st) Most of the poor people in china would be gone; (2nd) the quality of life would skyrocket for the people still living in china.
