He's been willing to tell his story based on his terms and legal situation.
Consider we've been going through the whole muh Russia nonsense, based on the DNC being hacked and published by WL.
WL has signaled over and over that their source for DNC email leaks is not a state sponsor, an likely SR.
Yet, none of the orgs or alphabets investigating SR or the DNC emails have even contacted the sources that published the emails or those claiming knowledge of source.
From what we know they haven't contacted KDC or WL.
Based on that their investigation is bunk.
