It means losing their grip on our economy - which is going to happen anyway - KEK. If we were to drop the dollar tonight - the fed would be left holding all those bad assets and they'd be insolvent. We'd get a CLEAN slate and a new currency, but have to start over with our currency valuation. Hence, we are quietly acquiring/recovering gold from abroad in the background of all of these other events taking place…

That's the whole point of the tarriffs. Honestly, we are likely their largest - or close to it - consumer of cheap Chinese crap (many of those items stolen from Americans by their gov't-sanctioned policy to do so, actually). They are saber rattling with tarrifs on us too - KEK. They will lose that - but they know they can raise the value of their currency and that is indeed a card they are holding close to vest. But the trade war nonsense is nonsense because WE purchase exponentially more goods from them than they do from us.

I don't disagree entirely, but we are talking how much the Yuan BUYS. So, all that means is issuing payment in smaller numerical value (as far as their gov't paying their slave labor force…). It's a black swan event though. They're not likely to do it - but it is within the realm of possibility. Honestly, I'm an advocate for just dumping the dollar. tonight. Yesterday. There has to be a market correction of massive proportions to fix this. Also, we'd have zero national debt right off the bat. This is not the first time we've contemplated creating a new currency - not by a long shot. We also, with that, need to force gov't to adhere to a limitation of expenditure - whether they like it or not. The IRS should also be dismantled because it's unconsitutional and all assets seized that remain returned to their rightful owners.
