Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer scolded Kamala Harris on Friday morning because she was messing around and laughing at an impeachment press conference.

Remember how many times the Democrats told us impeachment was a serious and somber moment?

But California Senator Kamala Harris thinks it’s hilarious.

Schumer turned around and told Kamala to shut up as a reporter asked a question.

Kamala Harris immediately stopped laughing and said “sorry.”

Oddly enough, the reporter started her question over from the beginning so the clip they use won’t have Kamala Harris messing around and laughing.

US President Donald Trump has overturned an order banning landmines passed by his predecessor, Barack Obama, whose mere signature seems to mark even the most benign legislation as a target for presidential wrath.

Trump has reversed a 2014 order that banned the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of anti-personnel mines, saying that the ban posed an unacceptable risk to US troops, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham announced on Friday.

“Landmines are an important tool that our forces need to have available to them in order to ensure mission success and in order to reduce risk to forces,” Defense Secretary Mark Esper declared in a press conference shortly before the official announcement, acknowledging the need to account for “both the safety of [mine] employment and the safety to civilians and others after a conflict.”

Assange is transferred out of solitary confinement in UK prison

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been transferred out of solitary confinement in a British prison, where he has been waiting for his extradition trial for over nine months. That’s according to canberratimes.com.au.

Assange’s contact and access to visitors was severely limited in what many saw as a punitive action, according to the story. If he is extradited to the United States, he will face charges of spying and conspiracy. Some consider it a landmark test of the protection of journalists’ sources. Assange critics claim he is not a journalist.

Assange’s legal team and other inmates reportedly led the effort to get him transferred out of solitary confinement, claiming that his treatment was unfair and unjust.

Assange’s legal team claims that he is still being denied meaningful access to his attorneys.
