always about the Ties
Free Transit, i get. Might seem outlandish at first but it does make a lot of sense.
But then having NO COPS IN THE SUBWAY THAT YOU JUST MADE FREE FOR EVERYONE is just beyond stupid
it's just an extension of infrastructure, and would boost economy in many ways.
funds spent chasing after tickets and all that crap could be diverted to proper use.
it's just sensible.
the no cops in there part, not so much
MAMBA NUMBA 4
ah, gotcha.
where i live they spend millions and millions every few year to "upgrade" the ticketing system.
passes, cards, machines, the contracts and kickbacks are just endless and pointless.
but then, as a bonus, in the name of stopping the evil fraud of people taking the bus (just as they spend other millions in advertising to convince people to do, each and every year), in the past years they have started paramilitary checkpoints, where a random bus is suddenly stopped, and armed security goons go through every single passenger to check if they paid.
it breaks my soul each time to see the sheep just go along with it as if it was perfectly normal, like cattle getting tagged before the slaughter.
such shame

seriously one of the most repulsive sportsball "heroes" ever, always have felt immediately disgusted by the guy, and i didnt know a thing about him
gravity?
yeah, could be better but could be worse.
but the management of public transit is just embarrassing - especially as they simultaneously scream and guilt citizens into being good ecofriendly drones and get squeezed in the overdrawn buses and subways.
but then put all the money into more and more security guards, none into drivers and better gear.
all those public funds, wasted. it's just sad.
when i was younger the city transit plans had "future builds" extensions for the subway map. decades later, they just took those out, in shame and no one speaks of it
ha, 2017? that's child's play
true, true. paryingmedic is so many issues at once, hard to describe.
the sheer narcissism at work in selling every single hunch as a decode, it's beyond most mere mortals
uh-oh
