Trump and Putin vs (((THEM)))

IMO, If you take away all the global theater, Putin is not only, not a bad guy, but is on our side where (((they))) are concerned. We can trust him (to the extent that POTUS does) because they are working together for their/our mutual benefit.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Russian's expulsion by Trump was to enable a retaliatory strike by Putin to expose something the deep state doesn't want on the table. (There are MANY options here: 911/Clinton/Obama/uranium1, that list is near endless.)

Agreed, it seems odd, but for all the REAL things to be concerned about, Putin isn't high on my list.
