On mobile, and youtube won’t let me scroll the ad back to cap; can’t find a copy currently.

Just saw a Google super bowl ad where they talk about how every year at this time, people ask the same super bowl questions (when is it, how many points for a TD). I’ve seen a shorter version of this ad, but a longer one just played, and one of the questions was “what is the superb owl” with the google suggestion below of “did you mean super bowl” and then it showed an own that looks at the camera and winks.

Sorry I don’t have pic—ad wouldn’t let me move back, and now that same ad won’t play.

(And sorry if already posted)

This thing’s got Comms aplenty. After the owl, they ask who sang the national anthem, and the show a DOG whining at the sound of our national anthem playing. Who was Rookie of the year? A little girl wearing number 44.

Is this an attempt to gain power by openly flaunting symbols/ideology, or is it deeper comms?
