Michael Skelly, 45, died suddenly on Monday in his Annadale home after suffering an apparent heart attack, his wife and father-in-law told the Advance.
“He was the best daddy,” his wife, Charisse, said fighting back tears. “Everything he did was for us.”
Skelly was a 24-year veteran detective in the NYPD Latent Print Section, a branch of the department that is in charge of analyzing fingerprints and photographic evidence.
