Given our population is around 300 million, 0.01% of our population die because of influenza every year. China has a population of 1.3 billion. Multiply that by 0.01% we get 130,000. Since medications are generally more affordable and easily accessible in the U.S., so I would assume that percentage is a bit higher in China. So my guess is it is a bit more than 130,000 influenza related death in China every year"
