>dedicated threads

threads work best when you have the type of content that is ONGOING: plane/boat fagging, country threads, warroom/meme warfare.

threads work less well for diggs that are intensive but temporary and attract "general" diggers (rather than specialists). For those, staying on "general" threads works best, gets the most attn and greatest diversity of experience--you can get all sorts of perspectives: legal, technical, experiential, scientific, work-related.

But mostly during slower times, at nights or on weekends. When the news cycle is brisk, forget about in-depth analysis (espec if you want your discussion notabled, ain't habbening).

short & sweet

stolen for "nomming notables" bun

will add to "baker" dough when i got enough

  • a passing baker

but then i noticed the id

no wonder you know, haha

i am collecting posts on baking, nomming, digging suggestions

will do some kind of bun to help new anons

would like to get better info on potentially notable vids especially

(date made, names, one sentence description)

i love it when these get posted with only "wow anons, check this out!"

;-}

you can try but in my experience, doesn't seem to work all that well

on a given General thread, the ratio of span/shitposts/other crap to substantive digs is high. ANY kind of serious dig is good, imo. Not that worried about redundancy, it often helps "eyes on", different people on different breads. I like to notable diggs although bakers vary with that; a lot depends on time of day.

NOT against topic threads, just observing what works and what does not. I had a thread i put tons of time and effort into removed by mgmt last year bc there were enough different participants on it, even tho the info was valuable.

Give me

date

title

guy doing it

notes

why it's greatโ€“objectively with facts or theories

Then i'll watch, not before.

And stop spamming it, plz. The more it's spammed, the less i'll watch.

This also made notables, why repeat??

All the stuff i saw on "Gates Foundation ECO steps down" was from Dec 5/6. Not even semi-mainstream source (or alt-new) source since then. Just namelyliberty.com

I'd wait on Notable until there's more/better sauce.
