Clear example of typical extremists trying to misrepresent, change or hide our history. They are using inflamatory language, invoking strong emotions, stirring up discord and unrest to divide the population.

“His pro-slavery rhetoric was extreme. And his portrait dominates our top NC courtroom.” http://www.newsobserver.com/opinion/article220326985.html

This effort appears to be linked to far left efforts to remove confederate monuments and ties into slavery, racism, human trafficking, constitutional rights. Have gone back as far as 2009 tracking the activists involved in this case. The same 2 people that are pushing this slavery agenda are also involved in pushing monument removals.

Believe Governor Cooper’s Historical Commission and the NC Supreme Court’s Portrait Commission are also playing a role in this.
