Chinese Authorities Register New Bird Flu Outbreak, No Human Exposure Reported
While the Wuhan coronavirus death toll continues to increase, China has reportedly been hit by another dangerous infection, as local authorities have detected a new strain of the H5N1 virus, commonly know as the bird flu.
The Chinese Agriculture Ministry said on Sunday a new outbreak of the H5N1 bird flu in the Hunan province, but asserted that no case of human exposure has been registered.
"An outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza occurred at a farm in the Shuangqing district of Shaoyang city, Hunan province", the statement said, adding that the infected farm had an estimated 7850 head of poultry and that some 4500 birds have died from the illness.
The viral strain of H5N1 has reportedly killed dozens across the globe over the last several decades. An outbreak of the bird flu was reported in 2009-2010 and again in 2013-2014. Both times, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the international community made a concerted effort to contain the spread of the dangerous infection.

OLATHE, Kansas — The Kansas City Chiefs are locked in to win the Super Bowl if they battle as aggressively on Sunday as a trio of Senate candidates did for President Donald Trump’s support at the GOP debate in this Kansas City suburb Saturday.
Rep. Roger Marshall, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and, to a lesser extent, Kansas Senate Leader Susan Wagle, touted their support for Trump on a host of issues during the hour-long debate.
They are vying to win the Republican primary race in hopes of filling a seat being vacated by Sen. Pat Roberts. The winner is likely to face Barbara Bollier, a Kansas state senator.

Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, says believers should pray for a constitutional amendment that would add a reference to God. He thinks the mention would be appreciated by all faiths alike.
“Most Russian citizens believe in God. Not just the Orthodox Christians — I speak about Muslims and many-many others,” the patriarch said as cited by the Church spokesman. “If the anthem can have the words ‘Our homeland protected by God’, why can’t the constitution say the same thing?”
Russia is currently preparing for a number of amendments to the basic law, which would somewhat redistribute powers among its branches and enshrine in it the State Council, an already existing consultative body. In theory, Patriarch’s proposal could also be thrown in with the list of suggested changes.

Lyric Gillett, founder of Faces of Choice — an abortion survivors’ group — is asking sports fans to “shut the television off” during the commercial break of Sunday’s Super Bowl as a message to Fox Sports Networks, following the company’s refusal to clear a pro-life ad purchase requested by her organization. She joined Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight to discuss her attempts to buy the airing of a pro-life advertisement.
“During the Super Bowl, if you watch the Super Bowl, this is my request,” Gillett said. “When the commercials come on, shut the television off, and instead go to our YouTube channel and pull up the narratives and the stories of these survivors. They’re so compelling. They’re unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. I would ask you to watch them instead of the commercials when those commercial breaks come on. Make an actual statement to Fox that Fox will feel. They will know when those televisions are off if people are not watching those commercials.”
Gillett recalled her dealings with Fox Sports Network, beginning when her media buyer first reached out to the company on July 29, 2019.

Earlier this month Biden missed the court-imposed deadline to turn in five years’ worth of financial information. The records, which were demanded by Independence County Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer, were in response to his failure to pay child support going back to 2018, and his claims that he was broke.
Judge Meyer had called for Biden to be held in contempt and he was ordered to appear in court on January 29th to face the Judge.
But as he usually does, Biden got out of it.

This is tragic and scary. “Smart” roads are being promoted as beneficial and being installed worldwide despite a multitude of risks associated with them (see 1, 2).
Thanks to one elected official for asking for their elimination until they can be made safe.

Five people have died in 10 months on a 16 mile-stretch of the M1 in South Yorkshire operating “all lanes running” (ALR) – when there is no hard shoulder.
Rotherham MP Sarah Champion said “it is totally unacceptable to risk lives in the name of cost savings”.
Transport minister George Freeman said a package of measures would be announced “imminently”.
Ms Champion asked the government to “take the opportunity of a recently announced review into smart motorways to change course and prevent further loss of life”.
All the electronic and wireless devices, sensors, and infrastructure needed for “Smart” anything emit “Electrosmog.” Research has already proven that exposure to Electrosmog is biologically and environmentally harmful.
Components necessary to make “Smart” anything require ecologically destructive mining for hazardous materials (see 1, 2) that often end up in landfills as toxic E-Waste.
So how much more has to happen before we eliminate “Smart” roads and other unnecessary and hazardous “Smart” technology?
