This Novel Corona Virus not only cause pneumonia and acute respiratory syndrome it causes a decrease in WBC counts and has the same receptor HIV uses to enter the T-cell. That means basically that it causes immunosuppression to then go on and cause respiratory signs. I am not able to confirm the people just dropping lifeless with no previous signs. Thee only thing I can think of for that is direct cardiac attack stopping the heart. But there is no data that would support that.
The question is if the virus can be cleared from the body at all or will remain dormant for long periods like HIV or could re-emerge later?
