We live in a disposable society. People just throw stuff out now instead of getting it fixed. I have a fridge in my basement that is the same way. Thing is over 30 yrs. old and still works great.
It's all of the "greenies" who are all talk and no do.
I'm beginning to suspect that myself.
Instead of BOOMs, we seem to be seeing POOFs instead.
Contracts just aren't renewed, people just retire and aren't replaced, etc.
Obummer didn't even want to show up for the debates in 2012, that's how assured he was that he would win the election. He told that Russian guy, "when I'm re-elected." No doubt in his mind that he would be re-elected bc the election was rigged.
