A philosophical Macro Analysis of Postman concept:
Studying History we know the Civilizations of certain Alluvial Valley Areas came to dominate world trade and power (Quigley, Evolution of Civilizations). Alluvial Valleys enabled the inhabitants the ability to gain expertise and specialization in virtually every aspect of 'everything' impacting homo sapiel life relative to inhabitants of other areas in which hunting, farming, gathering occured.
The Alluvial Valleys benefited from mineral fertilization (via organic leeching) into snowmelts, streams and rivers from mountain and upland areas to lower farmlands. Thus land remained arable indefinitely. With a steady uninterrupted food supply a groups labor could be directed efficiently into new areas and specializations since providing food/water could be provided with the labor of just a small percentage of the populace. The labor of others in the group could focus on long term construction techniques [Masonry] (since they did not have to relocate- build it to last).
While most of the worlds peoples lives were predominantly occupied with the basics of providing food/water and shelter, the Alluvial groups had free time for not only [recreation], but to create surpluses of food and other tradeable items and commodities which could be bartered or sold to further benefit their group.
They went on explorations to trade their surplus goods and created TRADING POSTS along the way. They would create a POST in existing occupied areas or at travel crossroads of land and waterways. They likely assigned a POST MASTER at these POSTS, many of which became todays major cities.
They always had an advantage relative to other groups because they had a huge headstart and became Global traders. Banking/Payment systems and the court system were integral in their commercial activities, to ensure 'monetary systems' could store labor and courts could enforce contracts.
Profits were so high on many items (think chinese tea) that a 10% down payment on some goods was sufficient to make a profit and if unable to pay full price a purchaser would be issued credit to be repayed, with power of the enforcement of courts.
Postmasters were their original representatives of trade and when they introduced banking, courts and other administrative bodies it is logical to suggest that Postmasters would supervise the later activities.
They thus built a system by adding to existing common law and precedent and twisting it to their advantage, and making these changes legally binding or enforceable. Perhaps thats why the Postmasters are above all else in many Nations.
Postmasters of course only control the POST, the POSTS ultimately absorbed legal and jurisdictional control of Nations.
The operative search for truth is to break the veil of hierarchal secrecy of those above the Postmaster, as that role is no more then a low level manager. Logically the Heads of the Construction e.g.Masonry sect within the group would be at a higher level than a trading post master as a hint…..They likely would be in charge of selecting and building Posts to which a Postmaster would be assigned.
Think about how an Alluvial Valley Group would be organized BEFORE going on trade missions and they likely stuck to that structure, and obviously incorporated many other groups and systems into theirs along the way. An Alluvial Group likely had a Chief Representative, and a Head of Defense/Security, Farming, Livestock, Building, Crafts/Clothing, Baking, etc. Not sure if they maintained these above Postmasters but it is likely because as we see with [Their] fucked up ideas of Recreation they practice, the Bosses from Egypt, Babylon, Mesopotamia do not seem to work too hard.
I haven't touched this area of History in a long time, but Quigley touches on alot, but does not put it all together. Thats the job of Anons who are digging this.
