Try this, instead: all life has certain requirements and only a comparatively small number of DNA variations will match up with those requirements. Therefore all of creation are just variations on a central creative theme. If mankind truly is the pinnacle of created life on this planet (I'm leaving a door open pretty wide), it would make sense that he is a blend of the other variations which were successful. That doesn't mean that pigs fucked chimpanzees which banged bananas, only that with each creation, the blueprint was refined.
