Something is very wrong with this story, just does not add up. I wonder what the actual percentage of fake $1s in circulation is. Based on what you would think, and what they are saying, it would be very low. Maybe not. There is no doubt it cost more than $1 to make and ship. The paper alone for a good copy is still expensive and tough to source without scrutiny. Getting the serial numbers to index is no simple task either. The article does not say if they were consecutive or not. This just bugs me and I'm looking for anyones guess as to why this is happening. It was going to a badguy, and made by a badguy at great risk, expense and labor. There could be a lot of this going on without notice, I mean who even looks at a $1 bill. Something really stinks about this. Contaminated maybe? Meant for distribution to the population obviously. That means us.
