what I hear:
our measuring equipment is reporting particles and is only able to 'pick up energy' to show it to us by using some quantum method that makes us think we see something.
but we really don't see it it's just an effect of the energy gathering devices quantization effects at the place of the smallest known useful length: Plank's length.
they only think they see stuff because it can only be measure in quantum units.
I remember that as rumors and speculations, conjecture without sauce, attempts to make it seem as though there is a vast under ground world of DUMBS.

More likely some . . . . told them to drill deeper and they breached something and it created an effect.

Do a dig on China Lake, there were a whole lot of different military groups there, and a lot of them were forward with their tweets and had web pages open for the public. It's probably still that way. I was able to watch a lot of plane and ordinance videos on youtube that were directed from China Lake web pages.

I do not doubt that with a faciltiy that large that there were many different kingdoms of contractor graft going on. That kind of place has numbered roads, usually, and you go the block house where you go and don't interact with the other people, in other block houses, on other projects. So no one knows all of what is shaking out , except for base commanders.
