It only means what people think it means.

Pretty sure all commercials contain subliminals. Even though illegal. There are other clever ways they have to insert imagery that will convey ideas to people subconsciously.
If you get a "feeling" while watching a commercial then that's probably a sign that a subliminal has registered with your subconscious.
Me? I don't have a TV. Don't watch TV. Even long ago when I had one, would turn off audio during all ads and turn my head away. You don't have to let that programming enter your mind.
