A few breads ago an anon asked if there was any link between the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the British monarchy - well here is a tentative one. Reminded me of an old dig that was done ages ago into Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and the hanging sheep/golden fleece.
For his 2nd inauguration on March 4th 1865 Lincoln was gifted a Brooks Bros jacket. The Brooks Bros logo is the hanging/ed sheep. Lincoln was shot April 14th 1865 (during the play "Our American Cousin") and died April 15th - 1 month 11 days later (42 days). Also 1865 boils down (1+8, 6+5) to 911.
It was not only custom-made but featured a custom-embroidered lining featuring an American eagle and a banner that reads “One Country, One Destiny.” Sadly, Lincoln was to wear the same frock coat on the evening of the fatal attack at Ford’s Theatre.
>One Country, One Destiny
Maybe the "One Country, One Destiny" could be interpreted as a patriotic US revolutionary sentiment or it could be thought of as a statement of British right to rule over the colonies? Just a theory - still needs more digging.
