A citizens Second Amendment group is urging gun owners to register to vote so they can help thwart a nationwide effort by Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg to back state-legislature candidates who support gun control.

"This is a call to action, for every gun owner in the country to get engaged," said Alan Gottlieb, the chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

"Last year he bought Virginia, now he's trying to buy the United States."

A group funded by Bloomberg called Everytown for Gun Safety is planning to spend at least $60 million on behalf of gun-control candidates in 2020, Gottlieb said.

Before that, as The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process shows, amid all the drama surrounding Jewish settlement in Palestine, the rise of Zionism, and the establishment of the Jewish state, the Palestinians are nowhere to be seen. Palestine was the name of a region, like Staten Island or Dubuque, not the name of a people.

An investigative report revealed that $90 Billion in US Taxpayer money has been funneled to overseas organizations in the name of helping those with HIV AIDS. In reality the funds are distributed to organizations including the Clinton Health Access Initiative and George Soros’s Open Health Institute.

Corey Diggs put together a report that shows that efforts to combat HIV AIDS may just be fronts for money laundering schemes ran by the Clintons and George Soros. The story begins in August 2000, a few months before Bill Clinton’s second term ends. On August 19, 2000:

Bill Clinton signed a bill establishing the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, intending to locate it inside the World Bank in Switzerland.

The Washington Post reported “Clinton, who will travel to Nigeria and Tanzania, is directing Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers to begin negotiations with the World Bank to set up the trust fund.”

China Arrested Doctors Who Warned About Coronavirus Outbreak. Now Death Toll’s Rising, Stocks Are Plunging.

The new coronavirus that has spread consternation around the world over the last few weeks has now killed more people in China than the SARS epidemic of 2002-2003. China’s health commission reported Sunday that there were 361 deaths nationwide. During the SARS outbreak, 349 people died in mainland China and 774 altogether around the world. The Chinese stock markets took major hits Monday, and the whole nation feels its growing isolation.

Yet last December—before people all over China were falling sick with pneumonia-like symptoms, before people around the world grew alarmed about a disease leaping from captured wild animals to human shoppers in dense Chinese food markets, and before coronavirus reached new shores after being carried onto planes by human hosts, forcing the World Health Organization to declare a global emergency—eight people discussed how several patients in Wuhan were experiencing severe, rapid breakdowns in their respiratory systems.

They were part of a medical school’s alumni group on WeChat, a popular social network in China, and they were concerned that SARS, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, was back.

It wasn’t long before police detained them. The authorities said these eight doctors and medical technicians were “misinforming” the public, that there was no SARS, that the information was obviously wrong, and that everyone in the city must remain calm. On the first day of 2020, Wuhan police said they had “taken legal measures” against the eight individuals who had “spread rumors.

Thirteen men named as main suspects of Brussels attacks

Thirteen men have been named as the main suspects of the 2016 Brussels attacks, eight of whom will appear before Belgium’s highest criminal court.

Federal prosecutors want to bring eight men before the Brussels court of assizes, all identified as members of the terror cell behind the attacks in Brussels and those in Paris, which took place months earlier.

Salah Abdeslam, a 30-year-old Belgian-born French national, is among the eight main defendants tried for their role in the attacks in which 32 civilians were killed and hundreds more injured.

Due to his involvement and role in the cell, prosecutors in Belgium want to try him as a central perpetrator of the attacks despite the fact that he was arrested four days ahead of the bombings in Brussels Airport and in a busy metro station in the European Quarter.

US Triton drones deployed to Guam for surveillance over China, North Korea

The United States Navy has deployed two MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft to the US island territory of Guam, the first time the drones have been positioned in the Pacific, in a bid to step up Washington’s surveillance capabilities in the region.

The two Tritons are part of Unmanned Patrol Squadron (VUP) 19 and will be joined by two more drones in the coming weeks, the US Navy said.

“The inaugural deployment of [the Tritons] brings enhanced capabilities and a broad increase in maritime domain awareness to our forward fleet commanders,” said Rear Admiral Peter Garvin, commander of the Navy’s Patrol and Reconnaissance Group, in a statement. “VUP19, the Navy’s first dedicated [unmanned aircraft systems] squadron … is superbly trained and ready to provide the persistent [intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance] coverage the Navy needs.”

US scientist recruited by China pleads guilty to lying to government

A former Los Alamos National Laboratory scientist accused of lying about his contact with a Chinese recruitment program pleaded guilty last Friday to one count of making a false statement to the U.S. government.

Turab Lookman of Santa Fe accepted the plea as part of an agreement with federal prosecutors that includes dismissal of two other charges.

Lookman will be sentenced at a later date, probably within 60 to 90 days, federal prosecutor George C. Kraehe said.

He could face up to five years in federal prison and be fined as much as $250,000.

Lookman, who was 67 when he was arrested, admitted to lying to a LANL investigator in 2018 about his contact with a program that prosecutors said had been “established by the Chinese government to recruit people with access to and knowledge of foreign technology and intellectual property.”
