While digging on some things I ran across some information indicating that an F16 or F35 could shoot certain missiles with a Specialized weapons package.

This reminded me of the Unauthorized missile fired at AF1. Could this have been from an F16 or F35 and not a submarine?

The image from Avenatti also seems to hint it could have been another aircraft.
