Former Prot Here:

Just leave him be. The mental gymnastics one must engage in to hold such warped theology stable in one's mind are exhausting. You have to physically keep plugging your ears and covering your eyes to painfully obvious contradictions at every turn.

It's scarey. And when you consider the degree of anti-Catholic / anti-Orthodox brainwashing they've been subjected to, there's nothing scarier than to take a peek into the truth of Christian history.

This is completely untrue. I'm not sure which priest told you that but that is quite a bastardization.

You should always be charitable, yes, but not subjecting someone to the truth because it will upset them sounds an awful lot like the safe-space coddling philosophy of some secular progressive professor, rather than good-faith application of genuine Church teaching.

"What the HAAAEEAL did you just rrraight their sonee?

Git bahhhind me Sayyytan!"

Response is a perfect example of what I just descreibed a few posts earlier. Literal sticking their head in the sand like a child.

It's the only defense they have. Their theology falls apart at every turn if subjected to scruitiny. Because it's a bastardization of a bastardization of a bastardiazation of the truth.

Lol don't you mean 3 popes?

You can't even get your strawmen straight.

It's almost like you were just taught some talking points to regurgitate to try to comfort yourself that your faith is barely even tangentially related to that of the apostles.

I'm not sure if she is or ever even was married.

I used to talk to her all the time. I'm the guy who had people find him in a bar once because of her.

I was so enamored with her work I said how proud her husband must be and she replied back to me

"He doesn't watch my videos, but thanks."

That's a red flag right there. What spouse would have their partner dedicate THIS MUCH of their life to something that is put on the internet publicly, let alone something of such seriousness that could affect their safety,

AND NOT EVEN WATCH THEM?

I thought the same thing was odd about the TRS guys. I feel like for some reason, maybe these ops are given strict orders to not have their wives participate or be mentioned at all. Or maybe the wives/husbands are completely made up for some reason?

As a recovering addict, I can tell you that cocaine is extremely unlikely, that's just a dumb meme someone made.

Meth or MDMA (Ecstasy) would be the most likely. She didn't seem tweaked though. I honestly wonder if it's not some mind control type of drug like Sodium Pentathol.

You can believe in Christ all you want, even the demons do that. If you don't commune with his true body and blood, you have no "relationship" with him.

Period.

The irony of what your saying, is that YOUR faith is indeed a man made one, and far from the actual faith of the apostles and the Church He founded.

Real easy test is this: Just compare your beliefs and interpretation of the Bible to that of the Church Fathers, the early Christian church, etc.

If you don't believe in the Primacy of Peter, than you indeed are NOT in the original Church,

But with the heresies we have going on in this forum, I'll pick my battles;-)
