Secret Service Agents And U.S. Marshals Are Patrolling Our Schools

The U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Marshals Service has been expanding into America’s school system at an alarming rate.

The Secret Service is training school administrators and teachers to identify violent students in numerous states like Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Louisiana and Kansas.

As the Secret Service report “Protecting America’s Schools” mentions, there is no profile that school administrators and teachers can use to identify a student attacker.

“Attackers varied in age, gender, race, grade level, academic performance, and social characteristics. Similarly, there was no identified profile of the type of school impacted by targeted violence.”

To help schools identify future school attackers, states like Florida, South Dakota and Texas have begun putting undercover Marshals in all their school districts.

The Herald Tribune revealed that “marshals will be embedded at every local school campus.”

The article also revealed who is behind the push to put armed marshals in America’s school system saying,

“The marshals would be deployed at each school by the Sarasota County schools Director of Safety, Security and Emergency Management for Sarasota County Schools. They would each carry a firearm.”

A look at the “State Homeland Security and Emergency Services” website reveals that Directors of Safety, Security and Emergency Management jobs are actually Homeland Security positions.

This disturbing revelation means Homeland Security is slowly turning our schools into mirror-images of our prison system.

According to Houston Public Media, school marshals identity’s are kept secret.

“A traditional school district or charter school can opt into the program and appoint a school marshal. That staff member, who could be a principal, coach, teacher or other individual, must complete 80 hours of training, including how to respond to an active shooter. The identity of the marshal is kept secret, unless there is an emergency on campus.”

In Ohio, Senate bill 147 would create a statewide school marshal program that would “let any tactical medical professional become a school marshal under section 5502.70 of the Revised Code.”

The bill would also create a chief school marshal along with regional school marshals of every school in the state. They include: city, vocational, community, Stem, college-preparatory, career-technical, chartered, preschools.

Page 12 of the bill under the heading Sec. 5502.70, revealed that even colleges will have marshals.

“There is hereby created in the department of public safety the Ohio school marshal program, which shall be administered by a chief school marshal. The program shall provide services to public and nonpublic schools and institutions of higher education regarding school and campus safety and security.”

Ohio’s school marshal’s are also required to conduct quarterly emergency management tests (school shooter drills).

School marshals are in charge of criminal justice networks

One of the most disturbing parts of the bill revealed that school marshals will also be in charge of criminal justice networks (page 10).

“The department (School Marshals) shall administer, maintain, and operate the Ohio criminal justice network. The Ohio criminal justice network shall be a computer network that supports state and local criminal justice activities. The network shall be an electronic repository for various data, which may include arrest warrants, notices of persons wanted by law enforcement agencies, criminal records, prison inmate records, stolen vehicle records, vehicle operator’s licenses, and vehicle registrations and titles.”

Putting school marshals in charge of criminal justice networks will only expand the never-ending War on Terror and will put more people on the terrorist watchlist. Marshals could also use the network to take guns away from innocent people using Red Flag laws.

If you are still having doubts about Homeland Security’s role in putting school marshals in America’s schools I leave you with this tidbit of information.

“The department shall coordinate all homeland security activities of all state agencies and shall be a liaison between state agencies and local entities for those activities and related purposes.”

Like a death by a thousand cuts, American’s have watched their freedoms slowly being taken away from them. Putting secret service agents and school marshals in every school across America will only help destroy what little rights students have left.

Virginia Bill Would Remove Immunity for Elected Officials

A Virginia senator aims to change state law giving elected officials immunity from arrest during legislative sessions, after a fellow state lawmaker was released despite having a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit during a traffic stop.

Delegate Chris Hurst, D-Blacksburg, was pulled over by Christiansburg police early Sunday morning after his vehicle was seen swerving between lanes. According to a statement by the Christiansburg Police Department, Hurst was given a sobriety and breathalyzer test and had a blood-alcohol level of .085. The legal limit in Virginia is .08.

But considering the lawmaker’s performance in the field sobriety test, coupled with a sober driver in the car, the officer let him go with a warning.

The police department says the officer did not recognize Hurst, nor did Hurst mention his status as an elected official. But even if the officer had decided to haul him to jail, a section of Virginia Constitution forbids delegates and senators from being arrested during the annual legislative session.

“This provision of the state constitution makes it highly unlikely that Hurst could have prosecuted in court even if he had been arrested,” the police department said. “The officer weighed all of the factors and made a judgment call, as is done each and every time an officer decides whether or not to make an arrest.”

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Hurst apologized for his behavior and asked his constituents for forgiveness.

“While I knew the dangers of drinking and driving ahead of time, I displayed poor judgment and made a mistake,” he wrote, but he also made mention of the constitutional provision.

“I don’t agree that I should be immune from prosecution when warranted,” Hurst added.

To fix this loophole, Senator Bryce Reeves, R-Spotsylvania, offered a constitutional amendment to address the immunity from arrest granted to public officials.

“Virginians elect their legislators expecting them to be responsible and accountable in both their public and private lives,” Reeves said in a Facebook post Thursday announcing the new legislative effort. “As leaders and role models, we must conduct ourselves ethically and with transparency.”

The fight to amend the state constitution requires many steps and eventually a vote from the public, but it has to pass the Legislature first.

Long-time Virginia politico Ben Tribbett warned against rolling back immunity. In a tweet, he opined removing the law could make way for a tied chamber as local police departments issue warrants to block legislation they don’t like.

“Legislative immunity only lasts during sessions then the person can be charged for something that occurred during session,” Tribbett said.

The immunity protection certainly hasn’t slowed the flow of criminal charges brought against Virginia’s elected officials.

Senate Minority Leader Tommy Norment, R-Williamsburg, took to the full chamber to apologize for a DUI charge in 2001. He was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .10 despite having helped pass legislation to lower the limit to .08. Reports from the time say he was charged but make no mention of the immunity protection.

More recently, Senator Joe Morrissey, D-Richmond, faced a litany of legal troubles including a conviction for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A delegate at the time, he resigned but ran in the special election held for his seat. He won and with approval from a judge, was allowed to leave jail to serve at the General Assembly during the day.

Last year, Morrissey ran for his old Senate seat and won. He has since married the woman for whom he faced jail time.

But Hurst’s incident has highlighted the issue of immunity for legislators in a way it hadn’t before, and Reeves is hopefully his bill will make it through the legislative process before going before voters to make the final call.

“As a lifelong public servant, I have always sought to be worthy of the public’s trust,” Reeves wrote. “My intent in offering this constitutional amendment is to restore and maintain the public’s trust in their elected leaders.”

Want to guess how much US AID money was sent to friends of Hillary with a percentage forwarded on to private offshore shell companies and bank accounts in the Clinton’s name not including money laundering involving the Clinton Foundation.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent agency of the United States federal government that is primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance. With a budget of over $27 billion, USAID is one of the largest official aid agencies in the world, and accounts for more than half of all U.S. foreign assistance—the highest in the world in absolute dollar terms.

USAID’s programs are authorized by Congress in the Foreign Assistance Act,[6] which Congress supplements through directions in annual funding appropriation acts and other legislation. As an official component of U.S. foreign policy, USAID operates subject to the guidance of the President, Secretary of State, and the National Security Council.[7]

Clinton Foundation “donations” have dropped from $177.8 million after Hillary’s last year as Secretary of State in 2013. They’ve been operating at a loss of $16 million per year for the past three years.

Worst day in years as Chinese markets plunge 8% amid coronavirus outbreak

China's stock markets tanked on Monday, their first day of trading after an extended Lunar New Year holiday, with nearly 3,500 stocks dropping by the daily 10 percent limit.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed 7.7 percent lower, the biggest drop in nearly five years. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks the performance of 500 major stocks listed on the exchange, dived 8.4 percent. Shenzhen hasn't recorded a single-day percentage drop this bad since 2007.

The losses on each index were the biggest since the 2015 'Black Monday,' wiping out a combined $445 billion off the market.

The Chinese currency, the yuan, has weakened by nearly 1.5 percent to around 7.00 to the US dollar.

China's markets last traded on January 23, the day Wuhan, the epicenter of the China coronavirus outbreak, was put on lockdown as the country reported over 800 confirmed infections and 25 deaths. The figures have since soared to over 17,000 infections and more than 360 deaths.

"It is really hard to trade stocks," Li Shuwei, chairman at Beijing WanDeFu Investment Management, told the Straits Times. "It's impossible to predict how this disease will develop. Even the experts have no clear idea when the outbreak will end, let alone stock traders." He added: "It's too early to buy stocks right now and it's also difficult to sell as all shares are limit down. So I will just have to wait and see."

In anticipation of a rout, the People's Bank of China said on Sunday that it would inject $1.2 trillion yuan (over $170 billion) into the Chinese markets using the purchase of short-term bonds to shore up banks' ability to lend money. The measure will help maintain "reasonably ample liquidity" in the banking system and keep currency markets stable, according to the bank.

‘Shame!’ French govt in damage control mode after plan to grant parents 12 days leave over death of child rejected by MPs

The Elysee is trying to avert yet another scandal after President Macron’s party-dominated parliament rejected a plan to extend work leave for parents who had experienced the death of a child, prompting cries of “Shame!” online.

The proposal, put forward by the Union of Democrats and Independents (UDI) and Agir (the Constructive Right), asked to extend the leave from five to 12 days, but was voted down by government deputies from French President Emmanuel Macron’s La République En Marche! (LREM) party.

Anticipating the eruption of another national controversy, France’s Labour Minister Muriel Pénicaud quickly stepped in to admit that the government made a "mistake" and promised to find a solution to the issue in the coming days. In an interview with Le Parisien on Sunday, she said the extension to 12 days will "return to the Senate in the form of a government amendment.”

Minister for Relations with the Parliament Marc Fesneau (MoDem) made similar comments. "Let's admit that there was a mistake, it's not worth beating around the bush," he said. But the condemnation from opposition parties and French citizens was swift.

"We are talking about the tragedy of tragedies,” said opposition politician François Ruffin. “Twelve days, I thought it would pass like a letter in the post.” On Twitter, Ruffin condemned the government’s action as a “vast meanness” and said that like maternity leave, which has been decided by government, leave guaranteed after the death of a child should be decided in law also.

While it was initially adopted in the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly last Wednesday, the text of the proposal was later stripped down by deputies from LREM and the Democratic Movement (MoDem). Instead, a new amendment was added suggesting employers could "create a donation account" for the employee after the death of a minor.

World Health Organization reveals Google is ensuring its advice comes top of searches to stop the spread of misinformation about coronavirus

Announcement made on Monday by WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

He spoke at meeting of WHO's executive board in Geneva, Switzerland

Tedros and other WHO officials have praised China's response to coronavirus

China diplomat lashed out at countries for flight cancellations, visa denials

The World Health Organization is working with Google to ensure that people get facts from WHO first when they search for information about the new virus that recently emerged in China.

Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told the opening of WHO's executive board meeting on Monday that social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Tencent and TikTok have also taken steps to limit the spread of misinformation and rumors about the virus and outbreak that first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in late December and has now spread to 23 other countries.

'To that end, we have worked with Google to make sure people searching for information about coronavirus see WHO information at the top of their search results,' he said.

WHO officials like Tedros have heaped praise on China's response repeatedly in public, echoed Beijing's calls to avoid panic, sought to reinforce weaker health systems and dispel rumors that may have prompted xenophobic invective against Chinese citizens and even other Asians.

Ambassador Li Song, deputy permanent representative for China in Geneva, lashed out at flight cancellations, visa denials and refusals by some countries to admit citizens of Hubei Province, where Wuhan is located, saying those moves went against WHO recommendations.

Li noted how Chinese President Xi Jinping, meeting with Tedros last week in Beijing, had said the coronavirus epidemic 'is a devil - we cannot let the devil hide.'

'At the same time, the international community needs to treat the new virus objectively, fairly, calmly, and rationally, and not over-interpret it negatively and pessimistically, or deliberately create panic,' Li said.

Military veteran who allegedly faked death to avoid child sex abuse charges found

A decorated military veteran who allegedly staged his own suicide to avoid charges of raping his 14-year-old stepdaughter was found by United States Marshal less than a day after he was placed on their "15 Most Wanted" list.

Jacob Blair Scott was expected in court on July 30, 2018, as Jackson County prosecutors charged him with a 14-count indictment for sexual battery, touching a child for lustful purposes, and exploitation of a child.

Scott, 43, was out on bond and failed to show up to court, where he was expected to plead guilty, ABC affiliate Denver 7 previously reported.

The judge issued an arrest warrant and investigators went looking for Scott. They found his abandoned dinghy in tow off the coast of Orange Beach, Alabama, with a gun and suicide note.

Authorities later found that Scott withdrew $45,000 from a bank account before his disappearance, but the money was not found. Scott's body was also never found.

Officials with the U.S. Marshals said Scott's "military background and knowledge of the outdoors may enable him to live off the grid." Scott served in Iraq and received a Purple Heart in 2011, the agency said.

Over the last 18 months, Scott was allegedly spotted in the Denver area, Mississippi, Nevada and Louisiana.

On Wednesday, Scott was added to the U.S. Marshals' most wanted fugitive list with a $25,000 reward. By Thursday, a tipster in Oklahoma reported seeing a man fitting Scott's description at a mobile home park.

Scott was taken into custody at Pittsburg County Jail in Oklahoma and is currently awaiting extradition back to Mississippi to face the child sex abuse case.

U.S. Marshals Assistant Director for Investigative Operations Jeff Tyler said in a press release that this was the "fastest apprehension of a fugitive in the 37-year history of the 15 Most Wanted program."
