MAXINE MELTDOWN: ‘A lot of racists in the Senate’ — ‘WE are the patriots!’

It didn’t take long for Maxine Waters to get political during a Los Angeles-area church sermon on Sunday. After briefly praising young people who spoke before her, it was almost as though a switch was flipped, and the California congresswoman proudly, yet angrily denounced President Trump and Republicans in the U.S. Senate.

“I’m so pleased about the spirit in this church today,” Waters said to applause. “I’ll be a slave buried in my grave and go home to my God, is that right? Now that’s what you call resilience,” she continued. “And this is what Trump don’t understand about me,” she said with a smile as someone banged on a tambourine in approval. “He can’t intimidate me,” she vowed as feedback from the microphone marred her rant. I’m not afraid of him. He may sling all those nasty words out about people, me and everybody else. But I’ll stand before him every day of the week and I’ll tell him he’s dishonorable, that he has disrespected us, that he’s divisive, that he does not deserve to be the president of the United States,” Waters said. “And as I said I was going to do everything I possibly could to help him get impeached. It took them a long time to catch up and to get started in the House of Representatives but we finally got started. And on December 18th at about 8:20 in the evening, the House of Representatives impeached the president of the United States,” she continued as the church burst into cheers. “We transmitted it over to the Senate as the Constitution would have us do and, of course, we have a lot of racists, dishonorable people in the Senate of the United States of America'” she said as someone shouted, “That’s right!”

She didn’t identify the alleged racists. '“They claim to be patriots,” she sermonized, “They—” Just then, jarring feedback — perhaps from the Lord above — struck the sound system, forcing Waters back from the microphone and disrupting her flow. “They’re no patriots. We are the patriots!” she declared, seemingly unfazed.

“We’re the ones who stood with this country. We’re the ones who fought for democracy,” she said, adding because of their “patriotism,” they have “suffered an awful lot.”

Bloomberg Enjoys Armed Guards While Fighting to Disarm Americans

Billionaire Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg is a staunch proponent of gun control for America with one caveat–he gets to spend his days surrounded by good guys with guns to keep him safe. Bloomberg’s use of armed guards has been seized upon again and again by gun rights supporters through the years. They point to the guards in an attempt to show his habit of pushing laws that would deny self-defense tools to poor families while allowing Bloomberg to benefit from being protected by men with firearms.

In 2017 Fox News’ Tucker Carlson pointed out the hypocrisy of Bloomberg’s actions. The New York Post reported on Bloomberg referring to the NYPD as his “own army,” while Mayor of New York City. And on January 25, 2019, NRA-ILA reported that after his tenure as mayor ended “Bloomberg hired some of the same [NYPD] officers from his security detail to work for him privately.” Yet he continued to push gun control for average American. His belief that gun ownership is esoteric was clear after the December 29, 2019, Texas church attack, which ended seconds after it began because an armed congregant took the attacker out. Even after the live-saving benefit of the armed congregant was put on display for all the world to see, Bloomberg responded by claiming only law enforcement, not congregants, should be armed. Texas church hero Jack Wilson responded by pointing out that if Bloomberg’s gun control had been in place the congregants would have been unarmed and at the mercy of the attacker. As a result, more lives would have been lost.

In more general terms, universal background checks are arguably the most prominent piece of legislation in Bloomberg’s gun control portfolio. Yet Crime Prevention Research president John R. Lott has shown that states that adopted such checks “experienced a 15 percent increase in per capita rates of mass public shooting fatalities.” Those states also witnessed “a 38 percent increase in the rate of injury from [the mass public shootings].” But Bloomberg moves through life surrounded by good guys with guns; by men who are armed to be sure he is safe as he goes about his daily business.

EXCLUSIVE: Google Employees Used Company Resources To Organize Anti-Trump Resistance Events

Editor’s note: What follows is an excerpt from Peter Hasson’s new book “The Manipulators: Facebook, Google, Twitter, qnd Big Tech’s War on Conservatives”

Google employees interpreted Trump’s election as a terrible outcome that they should have done more to prevent the American people from choosing and something they would work hard to make sure didn’t happen again. Indeed, I obtained documents and communications showing Google employees organizing anti-Trump protests using internal company channels, company time, and company office space. “If your stomach turns when you consider a Trump presidency, I urge you not to let this moment pass quietly,” one Google employee wrote in an email to coworkers, urging them to attend an anti-Trump protest in San Francisco ten days after Trump’s election.

Another Google employee in March 2017 hosted an anti-Trump resistance event at Google to flood the White House mail room with anti-Trump postcards. “Hi all,” the email began, “I’m participating in #TheIdesofTrump, a national movement to send POTUS a postcard on March 15 expressing opposition to him.” The message stated that employees had reserved a room at Google’s San Francisco headquarters for Google employees to gather and write the anti-Trump postcards. The invitation included the anti-Trump activists’ mission statement:

"We the people, in vast numbers, from all corners of the world, will overwhelm the man in his unpopularity and failure. We will show the media and the politicians what standing with him—and against us—means. And most importantly, we will bury the White House in pink slips, all informing Donnie that he’s fired. Each of us—every protester from every march, each congress-calling citizen, every boycotter, volunteer, donor, and petition signer—if each of us writes even a single postcard and we put them all in the mail on the same day, March 15th, well: you do the math''.

''No alternative fact or Russian translation will explain away our record-breaking, officially-verifiable, warehouse-filling flood of fury".

“I’ll bring the postcards and the stamps,” the employee added. “You just bring your woke selves.” It bears repeating that the employees used their work email addresses, a company listserv, and company office space to organize their anti-Trump activism, because there is absolutely no chance that a Google employee could get away with organizing pro-Trump activism using Google resources on company time. If someone tried, their coworkers would run them out of the company, if their bosses didn’t fire them first. One Google employee even reported a colleague to human resources for supporting Jordan Peterson’s objection to state-mandated pronoun laws in Canada. “One Googler raised a concern that you appeared to be promoting and defending Jordan Peterson’s comments about transgender pronouns, and expressed concern that this made them feel unsafe at work,” HR told the employee in an email, which noted that other Google employees were also “offended by [your] perceived challenge to our diversity programs.”
