I found this interesting article in a random JFK dig.

On Nov 19, 1963, just 3 days before being assassinated, JFK told his personal Secretary that he was going to remove LBJ as VP on the 1964 ticket. His secretary wrote a book in 1968 and disclosed this

I believe its been widely reported… somehow I managed to never hear this one.

 

Makes sense though, JFK was trying to drain the swamp then, and LBJ was obviously deep state establishment, and prob forced on him as VP, and not JFKs pick anyways… kinda like Pence for Trump
