Interesting 1985 interview with Oliver Thambo at https://youtu.be/jDWdWVgTLu4.

Noteworthy comments;

  • “We in South Africa would say that it started with Britain.” 0:15

  • “Few can escape the feeling that they are not humans in terms of those who govern them, the laws that are applied to them. The laws that are meant for sub-humans, you can’t escape this.” at about 5:34. Yet there are more laws against the whites now than there were against the blacks then.

  • “Even before that [Apartheid] there was segregation.” At 6:08

Apartheid never ended, only the recipients have changed. Take note, Britain continues to be involved in South Africa but nothing is done about the atrocities. Keep in mind, there were about the same number of murders last year compared to the entire Apartheid regime (1948-1994) and violence/murders escalated since the release of Mandela in 1990. >>9237851
