I don't wish Rush or anyone ill will. Hopefully it is a apeedy recovery. And while I do like listening to him from tome to time, Rush and all GOP pundits celebrated the crimes of war hawks and neo cons of the W. Bush years. No one is perfect and without faults in their past, but Hannity and Rush were the number 1 liars on TV and radio when Bush was president. Rush Limbaugh was Rachel Maddow b4 Maddow.

Hope him nothing but great health, a talent beyond measure, and a great ally of POTUS. But let's not turn this guy into a paragon of truth that he never was.

Before Q and Trump for the most part all politicians played on the same team. Congressional Dems told Bush, they would get us out of Iraq, but kept financing it. Republicans told Obama they would get rid of Obama care, but did nothing with their majorities. As for us the public, well we just accepted things.

Even those of us against the system, were not really promised any change from any politician (Ron Paul was nice blip, and the very beginning of the Tea Party), therefore we had no one to really behind, and conversely no other public to piss off. It was Ok to not like Obama or Bush around Bush and Obama supporters, becuase at the end of the day, it was all the same shit.

But now, with Trump, conservatism is actually being practiced again, and from the White House no less. This means actually political differences, a thing not seen for a long time in this country.

So how was it being conservative before Tump and Q. Pretty much the same as being a democrat.
