Anons, if Nancy really had a copy of the speech and not an indictment or a ‘love’ letter from our President, why was she surprised / hangry / confused? Clearly she leafed through the full documents and got angrier, more confused, and ignored his words.

My intuition says she was pissed and that is because her expectations were not satisfied.

Could those expectations be she was wholly expecting Mr. President to spend the SOTU Special time to defend himself of the im peech mint allegations. Would it please madam to have succeeded in controlling the narrative at SOTU.

Would it have pleased her more to have had all Mr. President’s achievements not mentioned to the full house, Senate and whomever is watching on TV?

I think it would have been a win she expected, counted on, was likely paid handsomely to create. Otherwise why did she invite him to speak at all?
