WELL, that isn't entirely accurate. RAPTURE comes from the word, "harpagฤsometha" found in I Thessolonians 4:17, and is translated to mean, "caught up", or "taken up".
And it is directly related to the Hebrew Feast of Atonement, where the Faithful, who have prepared themselves for the judgment await their verdict.
Lol, no, just saying that it is an idea that comes from the Bible. So it's not entirely accurate to say, "not Biblical".
As to how people interpret that idea, and whether it is or is not Biblical, is a matter of preference. ;-)
Yeah, sort of. Has all kinds of connotations in the OT usage. i.e. Lev 19:13 where the commandment says not to "โฆ hold back the wages of a hired worker".
It's an interesting word
BZZZZZZ WRONG. God wants Worship AS THE ONE TRUE CHURCH, which is the FULLNESS OF HIM WHO FILLS ALL IN ALL.
You're statement is absurd, "A CHURCH", as though there are many.
There's Only One, and it is WHEREVER two or more are Gathered in the Name of the One True God and the One Whom He Has Sent (YOU).
