Judicial Watch: Eight Iowa Counties Have Total Registration Rates Larger than Eligible Voter Population – at Least 18,658 Extra Names on Iowa Voting Rolls

February 03, 2020

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced that eight Iowa counties have more voter registrations than their eligible voting-age population. According to Judicial Watch’s analysis of data released by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in 2019 and the most recent U.S. Census Bureau’s five-year American Community Survey, eight Iowa counties are on the list of 378 counties nationwide that have more voter registrations than citizens living there who are old enough to vote, i.e., counties where registration rates exceed 100%. These 378 counties combined had about 2.5 million registrations over the 100%-registered mark. In Iowa, there are at least 18,658 “extra names” on the voting rolls in the eight counties at issue.

Under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), Judicial Watch sent notice-of-violation letters to 19 large counties in five states (California, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, and Colorado) that it intends to sue unless the jurisdictions take steps to comply with the law and remove ineligible voter registrations. Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act requires jurisdictions to take reasonable efforts to remove ineligible registrations from its rolls.

PEEKABOO: Warren Hides From Cameras Getting Off Private Jet

Sen. Elizabeth Warren likes to brag a lot about how many selfies she has taken with supporters, yet it seems like she finally met a camera that she did not want to be captured by. As Warren and some of her staff got off a private jet in Iowa, it appears that she noticed a camera taking a video of her and attempted to hide behind one of her staff members.

With Sen. Sanders, Sen. Warren, Tom Steyer, and other Democratic hopefuls all supporting the New Green Deal, it seems a bit hypocritical that they would put their own self-interest of becoming the Democratic nominee for president over the well being of the global environment. If Warren wants to be true to herself and her personality, she should continue to do live streams or awkward conversations from the private jets that she is taking.

Sen. Warren seems to take private jets quite often. The Washington Examiner recently reported that, in total, Sen. Warren had spent a whopping $700,000 of private jet travel since her campaign started (Bernie spent $1.2 million).

Mitt Romney’s betrayal demonstrates impeachment was always personal for everyone involved

It wasn't a question about whether or not the President committed high crimes and misdemeanors. It was always about feelings, as Mitt Romney demonstrated.

Senator Mitt Romney should be recalled. Period. It isn’t just his blatant betrayal. It’s his failed leadership and his unwillingness to properly represent the people of Utah. Under no circumstances does President Trump need to be removed from office for the “crimes” charged against him by the Articles of Impeachment.

Today, Romney announced he is voting to remove the President from office for one of the Articles of Impeachment, presumably abuse of power.

.@MittRomney is a disgrace. A pathetic disgrace.

He will vote to convict
