The whole Henniges digg got me thinking. There's a lot of strange stuff going on with the US auto industry. There was a Henniges plant near a town where I used to work a few years ago. Some folks thought there was a relationship between poor health and working at the plant.

I've had the idea for some time that Auto makers and others "outsource" work to poor communities in the US in order to protect the reputation of the core business. Any environmental or health damage is concealed in small towns that have little political power.

I found the dates and details in this pdf to be pretty interesting. Immediately after Obama election? How about the name of the engineer (not to assume that just because the name appears Asian that there is a problem)?

BTW, people in "my neck of the woods" sometimes report being paid less than they were a decade or more ago. Things seem much better with Trump in the White House, but there is still work to do!

I don't generally have cause to read documents like this, but it seems to me the permissions granted here were pretty generous. Not only that but the dates coincide with the Obama era. Engineer name seems to be Asian. Only an issue of the person has nefarious connections, which I don't want to assume, but still would note.
