I look at it as a years long project. Most of the work is not done by us - it's by them after they get the red pill. Then if they don't have the obstacle of 'admitting they were wrong' they may speak to you again about it without it being some big deal.

What are the odds the person trying to redpill is a)capable b)doing more good than harm c)doing it for non-selfish reasons (each would choose for themselves - and a culture of understanding that less is more, and a culture of understanding that it takes more than just dropping TB's of MOAB's on unsuspecting closed minded people - see, 'learning to trust the crowd', written, finally, by a crusty old lieutenant/CEO/politician somewhere)
