5yo girl raped at US Embassy compound in New Delhi – police
A 25-year-old man has been accused of raping a five-year-old girl at the US Embassy compound in India. Both the suspect and the victim are Indian nationals, who live at the mission’s local staff premises.
The horrific sexual assault allegedly happened on Saturday, but the Indian police only made the case public on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim’s father is employed as a housekeeper at the embassy quarters and lives there. The accused rapist has a residency at the compound too because his father also works for the embassy. Indian media are giving conflicting reports on whether the man himself, a driver by profession, is an embassy employee or not.
Police say the accused abused his acquaintance with the girl. On Sunday the child was playing outside the family house when the suspect invited her to the home of his parents to play mobile phone games. There he took advantage of the victim, police said. A medical examination confirmed that the victim had been raped.

Pentagon designates a 5th US military base for Chinese coronavirus evacuees
The Pentagon is using Camp Ashland in Nebraska to quarantine up 75 individuals possibly infected with the coronavirus, the Defense Department announced Wednesday.
Americans evacuated overseas in need of quarantine will be flown to a remote spot at Eppley Airfield in Omaha as soon as Thursday, according to Defense Secretary Mark Esper, and will be transported to the camp.
“DOD personnel will not be in direct contact with the evacuees and will minimize contact with personnel supporting the evacuees,” the announcement read. “Should routine monitoring of the evacuees identify ill individuals, [the DepartmentHealth and Human Services] HHS has procedures in place to transport them to a local civilian medical facility. HHS will also ensure that no evacuated personnel are transferred to any DOD installation if they are infected or ill.”
Nebraska National Guard officials have prepared three buildings with 85 beds at the camp, and Guard officials said evacuees won’t be interacting with guardsmen or employees there.
The HHS also said that planes will arrive at bases in California and Texas. All passengers will be screened for symptoms and are subject to 14 days of mandatory quarantine. It typically takes about two weeks before seeing symptoms of the coronavirus, which part of the reason it has spread so fast.

EDITORIAL: Trump Makes Juan Guaidó’s Global Tour a Success
U.S. support and commitment has given Guaidó a second chance to triumph over Maduro. He should not waste it
The United States is really the only superpower. Its economy represents 25% of all that the planet produces and consumes, its military spending is higher than that of all the other nations of the world combined. And it is so powerful that China, the most populous country on the planet, the nation that until recently was trying to match the U.S. had to surrender and accept the conditions imposed by the recent trade war. If the U.S. stops buying Chinese products, that nation would simply starve.
Therefore, what happened on Tuesday, February 4, in the United States Congress, is of tremendous importance. Donald Trump voicing his support for Juan Guaidó is probably the most significant public expression of support that any foreign leader has received from a U.S. president in decades. With his words, Trump has committed himself to Venezuela and has given a signal to the world: The U.S. will not falter in supporting Venezuelans in their struggle to defeat Nicolás Maduro’s communist tyranny once and for all. This signal is particularly important for Europe.

Faulty Boeing strands hundreds of Belgians in Jamaica
Thursday, 06 February 2020
Hundreds of Belgians are stranded in Jamaica after their connecting flight back to Belgium was cancelled due to a technical default on their Boeing aircraft.
A total of 305 passengers on their way back from Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, have been stranded in Montego Bay since Tuesday evening.
The Belgian passengers took off from Punta Cana at around 4:00 on Tuesday, landing in the Jamaican beach resort for what was supposed to be a connecting flight.
“We were stuck inside the plane for around an hour and a half when they told us that the brakes on our plane, (…) had an issue which they needed to verify and repair,” a passenger on the flight told RTL, adding that their plane was a “Dreamliner Boeing 737.”

El Salvador’s New President Could be More Dangerous than FMLN Communists
Nayib Bukele, El Salvador's new president, has won election with the support of a right-wing party, but he holds radical leftist views even more extreme than those of the FMLN.
On Sunday, February 3, there were presidential elections in El Salvador. After 30 years of bipartisanship, the new president was elected from outside the ranks of either the socialist FMLN or the right-wing ARENA. However, the news is not as good as some have claimed. In fact, Nayib Bukele, president-elect of El Salvador, may prove to be even more dangerous than the socialist guerrillas of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front.
With 53% of the votes, Nayib Bukele won a first round victory against Carlos Calleja, the candidate of ARENA, a party that is popularly known as the right wing, who won 31.78% of the votes. In third place was Hugo Martínez of the socialist FMLN. Bukele ran on the ticket of the GANA party, the Grand Alliance for National Unity, which on paper defines itself as conservative and center-right, but which in practice is a party that supports the FMLN in laws and votes.

Algeria replaces state energy firm CEO amid ongoing political crisis
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Wednesday appointed Toufik Hakkar as the new head ofstate energy firm Sonatrach, state television reported.
Hakkar, a senior Sonatrach executive, will replace Kamel Eddine Chikhi who was only named head of the company three months ago, the latest in a rapid carousel of changes at the top in recent years.
Algeria, a major gas supplier to Europe, relies on hydrocarbons sales for 60% of its budget revenue but they have slumped since the oil price fell in 2014, leading to a big decline in foreign currency reserves.
Latest figures show oil and gas earnings reached $30.25 billion in the first 11 months of 2019, a 15% fall from the same period a year earlier as domestic demand and lower output reduced export volumes.
The North African country has responded by trying to boost production capacity, and is seeking investment from international oil companies to help it to do so.
In December, it passed a new law to encourage such investments while still barring foreign companies from owning a majority share in Algerian energy projects.

Alex Newman Reviews ‘Technocracy: The Hard Road to World Order
This is the best book review written by international journalist, Alex Newman. Alex has travelled extensively around the world and is a top expert on the U.N. and Sustainable Development, aka Technocracy.

The planetary “New World Order” regime that so many globalist schemers have heralded will not be a republic, a monarchy, or a democracy. It will not be communist or capitalist. Instead, according to Patrick M. Wood’s phenomenal book on the subject, it will be a “technocracy” — a system that eliminates individual liberty under the pretext of environmentalism and economic efficiency, dominated and ruled by elitist technocrats. In short, a “scientific dictatorship.” The machinery for this monstrosity is being put in place even now. Even in America, the technocratic grip is getting stronger. But the fight is not over, and resistance is not futile, Wood says.
One quote, used more than once throughout the book, offers a revealing picture of what is happening and what is coming in the building of this technocratic “world order” by the elite. “It will look like a great ‘booming, buzzing confusion,’ but an end-run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault,” explained former U.S. State Department bigwig Richard Gardner in a 1974 issue of Foreign Affairs, the flagship mouthpiece of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations. The article was headlined “The Hard Road to World Order.”
